“Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald
Today is officially the first day of fall and this mama is EXCITED, y’all! I just love this time of year. Something about it is just so refreshing and rejuvenating and magical.
The changing of the seasons always marks a shift for me, giving me the feeling of having a clean, fresh slate to start over and embrace the new season. Anyone else feel that way?
In my life right now God is doing some big things. He is pruning my heart, shaping my spirit and refining me to be better equipped to walk out His purpose for me.
“The trees are about to show us how lovely it is to let the dead things go.”
Isn’t that beautiful?! Yes, yes and amen!! It’s all about letting those dead things in and around us go, the ones that aren’t bearing fruit any longer, and starting fresh with renewed perspective and focus.
Fall is a time I especially love because of all the fun memories I have and all the fun traditions and activities that go along with this season.
That’s why I’ve put together this bucket list, so I don’t forget to squeeze every single drop of goodness out in this season I possibly can!
We’re kicking things with a bang by making apple art today for school, going apple picking this weekend, then making homemade applesauce – my girls cannot wait (and neither can I!)
